In our ongoing commitment to environmental conservation, Orbit Plastic Factory Recycling Center has partnered with South Eastern University of Sri Lanka (SEUSL) to launch a recycling initiative. As part of this program, we have installed recycle net baskets across the university campus to encourage students and faculty to dispose of plastic waste responsibly.
This initiative was officially launched at SEUSL during a special event presided over by Mohamed Ismail Rasheed, Chairman of Orbit Lanka Private Limited. Through such efforts, we aim to educate and engage the younger generation in sustainable waste management practices.

Recycling Waste Plastics: HDPE, LDPE & PP
At Orbit Plastic’s Recycling Center, located in Oluvil, Sri Lanka, we collect and process plastic waste materials, including PP (Polypropylene), LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene), and HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene). Through advanced recycling methods, we transform plastic waste into high-quality raw materials, reducing landfill waste and promoting a circular economy.
